Day 1 - Tanranguire
The elephant is the symbol of this park, where you will spend 4 to 5 hours and begin to experience the majestic nature of Tanzania's great parks and their wildlife. The Tarangire offers one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Not to mention impressive baobab trees, giant termite mounds and other areas of wonder.
Drive to the Serengeti during the day if you have already slept at the Tarangire, otherwise you will spend the night at the Tarangire and drive to the Serengeti early the next morning.

Day 2 - Serengeti
The road from one park to another is also a show in itself. The crossing of villages offers unforgettable images.
Around noon you will arrive at the entrance of the Serengeti, and it will be time to start looking for a place to have a picnic! Under acacia trees or a "sausage tree".
After lunch, you will begin your game drive, looking for wildlife. The reserve has millions of wildebeest and zebra, more than 3000 lions, about the same number of leopards and cheetahs... The experience of the guide will be essential here!
While observing animals and scenes of the savannah - you may see a hunt - you will head to your lodge, where you will rest and have dinner.
Very important, every evening you will debrief with your guide in order, if necessary, to adapt the program of the next day.
Day 3 - Central Serengeti
The King lion ... simba in Swahili, symbol of the Serengeti. The lionesses hunt and watch over the cubs. With or without the family, you should see some beautiful scenes!
You will picnic in the bush, then go back in search of wildlife to observe and photograph.
Depending on the season of your visit, we suggest spending a third day in the Serengeti and heading even further north to the Mara River in search of large herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Day 4 - Serengeti
The Serengeti is vast, give yourself time to wander around... After a breakfast, the guide will try to show you what you haven't seen yet, especially among the Big Five animals - lion, rhino, leopard, elephant and buffalo. Seeing them all is never guaranteed, but it is in the Serengeti that you will have the best chance of seeing them all!
You will stay a third and final night in the lodge located in the center of the park.
Day 5 - Serengeti - Ngorongoro - Karatu
You will leave the lodge very early, after a hearty breakfast, to reach the Ngorongoro crater.
Ngorongoro, is a miracle of nature - life made of hundreds of living species that have come to live at the bottom of a 600 meter deep crater. You will walk through it for about 4 hours.
Four hundred species of birds inhabit this place. Among them the pink flamingos which come, always in period of rising moon, to settle on the lake Makat - a lake formed by the rains which pour in the basin of the crater. Numerous hippos bask in smaller lakes where you will have a picnic with your guide
At the end of the afternoon, you will go up the steep slopes of the crater to reach your lodge in Karatu, and enjoy a well-deserved rest after a long day. Hence the importance of having a comfortable car in excellent condition!
